Department of Pediatrics

 
Introduction of the Department
 
The Department of Pediatrics was established soon after the opening of Shuang-Ho Hospital. The department had successive openings of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Infant Moderate and Severe Wards and the Pediatric Ward that same year. Pediatric clinical services include outpatient, inpatient, electrophysiological examination, and various ultrasound examinations. The department currently has twelve full-time attending physicians and three part-time attending physicians. We have specialists working in Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, Neonatology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Nephrology, and Pediatric Genetic and Metabolism.
 

The department upholds the concept of respecting the patient, community first service philosophy, and the pursuit of sustainable progress in order to provide the best service to our local residents.
